Unity is proposed them for Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx.
Unity theme covers splash, login, lock and desktop screen.
I am posting this because login windows (GDM) is awesome.
Current GDM in Lucid doesn't look nice, it is same as in Ubuntu 9.10 only background is changed and themes for GDM is Radiance and Ubutnu-Mono-Light icons.

I like everything in this theme except the boot screen. The boot screen should either stay the same or follow the same style as the login screen.
Yes I really think it is awesome, terrible, horrible etc.
Why not just keep things simple and clean ?
