VirtualBox And Ubuntu 10.10 - Guest Additions

For those who are using/testing Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat in a VirtualBox,

After updating to X Server 1.8 and 1.9 i had problems with VBox guest additions, mouse integration didn't work and i couldn't change resolution.

If you have same problem Download Latest VirtualBox and install latest VBox guest additions.

You can download latest VirtualBox here.

Latest VBox guest additions have support for X Server 1.8 and 1.9


Download Pre-release VirtualBox guest additions for X server 1.9


You can still enable higher resolution by installing "virtualbox-ose-guest-x11" package

sudo apt-get install virtualbox-ose-guest-x11
